The James Bay Cree value the importance of their culture in an ever-changing world. Craftsmen are shown making snowshoes using birch, tamarack and poplar wood as well as caribou, bear, and moose hide and seal skin. They still use traditional techniques and the elders’ hands show how hard they have worked in their lives.
