Wayne Valin-McDougall has rediscovered his traditional culture and it has helped him adopt a healthier, drug-free lifestyle. He makes regalias in preparation for the annual Pow Wow at Pikogan, the Abitibiwinni First Nation, an Algonquin community in Quebec. Traditional dancing saved his life, and he dances sober at pow wows now to teach his kids how to follow the Red Road.
