Born of an Innu mother and a Chadian father, a young woman embarks on a journey in search of her identity. A poetic and personal journey between the present and the past, between her Innu homeland on Route 138, Côte-Nord, Quebec, and Africa where the other half of her roots lie. This autobiographical short film is tinged with sweet intimacy and presents the challenge and pride of having two identities and her hopes for her unborn Métis child.
