Admiral Bubbles has perfected his electrified ink process which allows him to control paper and manipulate it into dangerous forms, who starts by attacking Beanie with a paper dragon. Barely escaping, Beanie thinks that he thwarted his goldfish, but when Beanie gets put in charge of working on the paper maché sets for the school play, he realizes that Admiral Bubbles has been waiting for a perfect opportunity such as this. Tricking Beanie into letting him help with the sets, he secretly paints the giant backdrop pieces with his special ink. On opening night he takes control of the play by remote control, transforming the innocent looking set pieces into giant creatures, including a three-story gorilla who captures Beanie’ friend Nia. Needing to stop the monsters, but not wanting to panic the crowd, Beanie pretends to be part of the play as he defeats the beasts. With the entire play falling around him, he manages to save Nia and finish the play in character, much to the annoyance of Admiral Bubbles.
