When your goldfish is evil, sometimes be hard to get along. Beanie’s mom notices a certain “tension” between Beanie and his goldfish, and encourages them to try working on a project together and buy a "Sea Dudes" aquarium. Beanie reluctantly sets about the task, but, when he sees how enthusiastic Admiral Bubbles gets about their new hobby, he slowly comes around. Soon the two of them are acting like the best of friends. Unbeknownst to Beanie, Admiral Bubbles has been secretly using a home-made growth ray on the Sea Dudes at night. Before long, Beanie’s bedroom is crowded with Sea-Dudes that hatch into seven- foot tall abominations who take Beanie as a sacrifice, and soon the Sea-Dudes revolt against their master and declare Admiral Bubbles a sacrifice as well. The two adversaries are now forced to team up. Together they trick the Sea- Dudes, convincing them that the growth ray can make them even bigger and stronger, Beanie refuses to turn off the ray, and the Sea Dudes expand to giant size before suddenly deflating, returning to their original, harmless size. Even though they make a great team, Beanie’s refusal to join his goldfish’s quest for world domination means this friendship is over.
