When your goldfish is evil, everyday life gets pretty interesting. Admiral Bubbles’ latest plot involves turning the weather into a weapon of mass destruction and it’s up to Beanie to stop him. A destroyed building site causes wreckage for Scoop as it wipes out his newsstand, but creates an opportunity for Admiral Bubbles, who manages to dupe the construction workers across the street into re-assembling their giant construction crane into a monstrous walking robot with menacing claws. Too busy trying to take care of his new houseguest, Scoop, Beanie doesn’t notice what his fish is up to, until he’s tricked into bringing him to the site. Taking control of his monstro-crane, Admiral Bubbles is on a destructive path toward the city’s reservoir dam. Fearing he might be too late, Scoop comes to Beanie’s aid just in the nick of time succeeding in freezing both the dam’s leak and the goldfish, trapping him inside his control room. Mission accomplished, Beanie finds Scoop and heads home to a very worried Mom. Before long, Scoop is back at his newsstand, and Beanie’s thwarted Admiral Bubbles plan once again.
