Screaming Heads, near Burk's Falls, Ontario, is the passion project of artist Peter Camani. What started as a home renovation project has turned into a multi-hectare natural art gallery that's still growing. While this has been a massive, decades-long undertaking, Camani says he doesn't bother thinking about what'll happen after he can't take care of his art anymore. But while Camani's own legacy doesn't concern him, he's helped others with their own remembrances.
In this episode of Living History, we'll meet Camani, he'll take us around his property and explain the origins of Screaming Heads. We'll then hear how one person has felt such a connection to this place that she had her mother's ashes incorporated into one of Camani's sculptures as a memorial.
