This Canadian production from the Simcoe County Arts & Crafts Association introduces the student to heritage crafts that were so necessary when the pioneers came to the New World. The program examines Spinning, Weaving, Knitting, Rug Hooking, Stitchery, and Quilting. You examine the idea of the skills needed to perform the crafts, the tools needed to get started and some idea of the creativity that keeps people hooked on these crafts.
