Cole Clark, 22, is a Tlicho Dene warrior working at Home Base, an organization for at-risk and unhoused youth in Yellowknife, Northwest Territories. A passion for playing sports got Cole through his own troubled adolescence and it’s this passion that he now loves sharing with the youth he helps.
Dylan Hope is a 20-year-old Dehcho Dene/Swampy Cree youth who raps about life as an Indigenous youth. Dylan’s lyrics about life as a northern Indigenous youth take center stage at Yellowknife’s Folk on the Rocks festival.
