Local Rapper and Host Ismaila Alfa discovers urban youth who find their passion and legitimacy in urban art. This is the story of a Winnipeg organization, Graffiti Art Programming and Gallery, that began using graffiti as a seed for change, giving young people a voice and using urban art to discover who they are. Stephen Wilson brought his idea for a graffiti gallery into reality, taking the art from illegal to legal. He learned that graffiti was part of a revolutionary sub-culture called hip hop, with its own language, fashion and music. The four elements of hip hop - Rappers, hip hop musicians, break dancers, and graffiti artists - became the pillars of the after-school program at the Graffiti Gallery.
