Dawn Carisse went missing from the North Bay Psychiatric Hospital more than two decades ago, vanishing without a trace. Dawn was one of six patients who disappeared from that hospital between 1966 and 2010. Now Ellen White, a former private investigator, volunteers time to track cold cases and shares gathered information on her podcast “Whereabouts Unknown”. She is finding new clues for Dawn’s family through responses to the program. She learns that that Dawn’s duffle bag and Native status card also went missing from a secure vault when she escaped from the hospital the last time in 2001. The mystery remains unsolved, but Dawn’s children still hope she is alive somewhere.
