In 1996 teens Rebecca Middleton and Jasmine Means from Belleville, Ontario traveled to Bermuda, a charmingly beautiful place. Still a British colony, it mixes traditional English custom and carefree island lifestyle. The girls had big dreams of sun and fun but instead their Rebecca was sexually assaulted, tortured and stabbed to death. Despite evidence, no one was ever convicted of her murder. W5 reviewed the improper investigation, trial and miscarriage of justice, and the families kept up the fight for rights for this young victim.
