In Greece we learn about how knowledge and inclusion has led to successful conservation and what impact tourism has on marine waste but also on the circular economy. We also get to see newborn sea turtles and how they handle unnatural threats, like plastic in the sea.

In Uganda Joakim talks to Dr. Jena Hickey, one of the world’s top mountain gorilla scientists, and finds out how they have achieved a positive development and growth of the gorilla tribe plus what kind of role the circular economy has played. Joakim also takes part in a gorilla-counting-expedition where a very particular technique is used, to say the least.

In Tanzania Joakim finds himself being part of a very dangerous expedition, where he lets the viewers know more about criminal activities like illegal elephant poaching and its consequences and what impact the decreasing number of elephants have on the biodiversity, and in the end on us humans.
