Down2Earth Series: Down2Earth is an award-winning Canadian-produced documentary series that features Indigenous people from across Canada and around the globe who are using traditional knowledge and science to find solutions to environmental issues that are affecting their communities and territories. Presented by Art Napoleon (Cree), Steve Sxwithul’txw (Coast Salish) and Leigh Joseph (Squamish), Down2Earth visits Indigenous communities and explores their natural environments through engaging and informative conversations.
Each 21 minute episode features three stories.
Filmmaker Bio: Barbara Todd Hager is a writer, producer and director. Her family traces its Métis ancestry to Red River, Fort Pitt and St. Paul des Métis Settlements. In 1999 she launched Aarrow Productions and it has grown into one of Canada’s leading Indigenous-owned media companies.
