Adolescents and adults think differently, not only due to experience (or a lack of), but because their brains actually follow different patterns. In this program, we introduce and discuss the major theories on the stages of adult cognitive development. Discover the differences between adolescent and adult brains and learn how, during the phase of early adulthood, the brain matures and changes. For example, the pursuit of a higher education influences the development of a person's brain, as do other major and some seemingly minor life events.
