We follow Nanette on her first solo trip to the bakery. Getting the warm baguette is a big responsibility.  Baker Juliette greets Nanette in French and gives her the best baguette yet!  But the warm, aromatic baguette tempts Nanette. Can she stop tasting it?  No! Will Mom be upset? Mom and Nanette go back to the bakery and this time they both get to enjoy the second fresh baguette.

Traditional French accordion chanson music, some French conversation, and typical French village scenes provide connection to French culture. The text plays with words that rhyme with Nanette and baguette.
