On a trek to see the stars at a special place in the woods where Buddy sees lots of natural wonders but Joe and Nina are more interested in the games on a cell phone. When Buddy sees Smudge has wandered off into trouble the others finally realize they must pay attention and even use the flashlights on their phone to help with the rescue.

Wolf Joe follows Joe, a young indigenous boy who is inspired to explore his indigenous culture and identity as he embarks on adventures to help his community. Joined by his best friends, Nina and Buddy along with Smudge the puppy, together they turn everyday experiences into awesome adventures around the great outdoors of their Northern home of Turtle Bay.
