Inspired by his father, the Chief, Buddy becomes leader of the trio, giving orders to Nina, Joe and Smudge the puppy as they help neighbours. Buddy doesn’t listen to their concerns so Joe and Nina refuse to follow but he realizes his mistake just in time to lead them in rescuing some animals stuck on a roof. Lesson learned on Seven Teachings Wheel – Wisdom (Beaver) – Buddy unites his friends to save the raccoon.

Wolf Joe follows Joe, a young indigenous boy who is inspired to explore his indigenous culture and identity as he embarks on adventures to help his community. Joined by his best friends, Nina and Buddy along with Smudge the puppy, together they turn everyday experiences into awesome adventures around the great outdoors of their Northern home of Turtle Bay.
