When Smudge the puppy runs wildly around Turtle Bay instead of letting the kids take him to the vet he also snatches Handyman Hank's delivery list. Recognizing that Smudge is afraid but that he loves apples, Joe and the friends entice him to give up the book and calmly get a check up. Lesson learned on Seven Teachings Wheel - Love (Eagle) for loving Smudge enough to understand his fears of the vet.
