Hillary and Emily take a ferry ride to Haida Gwaii Island to learn about totem poles and Haida people. The sisters learn how to read a totem pole, which is like a history book. They watch a Haida welcoming dance and participate in a women’s dance. Finally, they play a Haida stick game and help paddle a giant cedar canoe!
