While Nick’s Mom interviews Ada about all the people helping technology Magnus Tech makes, Shania deals with an interview of her own. We learn Shania is a foster kid when her social worker, Dave, comes and sees that Grandma isn’t as spritely as she used to be because she’s having knee pain. Shania thinks she and her brothers are going to get taken away from Grandma! To help Shania’s family out, Anne decides to make a brace for Grandma, and goes to Magnus Tech to ask Ada for help. Thanks to Ada, Shania’s family’s next interview with Dave goes really well. But Shania learns that Dave was never going to split up her family, he was just going to offer some help. Either way, Grandma’s new knee works great and Shania has a reason to be grateful to Ada… not that she’ll admit it.
