My Journey Home recounts the story of a biracial woman with Indigenous and African heritage. Born in British Columbia, Canada, she was adopted by a white family during the Sixties Scoop—a period during which thousands of Indigenous children were taken from their families and communities—and raised in the United States. As she embarks on her journey home, she rediscovers her roots within the Nisga'a Nation and reconnects with her Indigenous identity.

About Rose Patterson – This is Rose’s directorial debut. She is a Nisga’a Indigenous Crisis Counselor with Indigenous Child Services.
