Before leaving our home for their home in Williams Lake BC for an around the world sailing trip, Robert and Vanessa Moberg asked their friends, local Indigenous women, to plant some trees. They agreed and conducted a smudge ceremony, sending Robert and Vanessa on their way with a beautiful blessing. The fire-ravaged lands of the Secwepemc people in this area now have several new seedlings in their midst, starting the process of nature recovery - a few trees at a time.
