The excellent elderberry pie is now becoming a taste treat for everyone. This film describes how the major difficulty in the commercial marketing of elderberries has been overcome at the Kentville, Nova Scotia, research station. By freezing the berries just as they come off the bush, separating the tiny stems from the berries becomes a simple operation, after which they are washed, culled and canned.
