A Parallel World deals with the aftermath of war. It is a story of human suffering and existential chaos experienced by a group of children and their parents who live in a refugee camp surrounded by mountains.
Radusha is a refugee camp close to the Kosovo/Macedonia border. A small camp in a small place. Yet this tiny group of people is part of a bigger tribe that slowly but surely spreads around the world, people with no country, no permanent homes, no belongings, refugees living in a parallel world created by fear and rejection of their otherness. For the people of Radusha camp in Macedonia it seems that the war is already over. However it is still not clear which one is worse, the whistling sound of falling bombs or the silence of memories.
