The famous boys' choir of St. Joseph's University, New Brunswick, winners of the Lincoln Trophy as Canada's best male choir and, in 1951, of the famed International Eisteddfod at Llangollen, Wales. The film shows the boys' spontaneous enthusiasm for singing--at work, at play, at rehearsal and on the concert stage. Their skilled conductor, Father Léandre Brault, is seen as he trains the choir to tonal perfection, and the boys are heard in two French-Canadian folksongs, V'la l'bon vent and Alouette, a Gregorian version of Alleluia, and La vie étudiante to the tune of Finlandia.
