In this film veterans of this century's major wars describe how wartime profoundly affected their lives, creating memories still deeply etched many decades later. After the Wars reminds the viewer that veterans are all around us. They may be a next door neighbour or the person in the adjoining office or the owner of the small business around the corner. What they all have in common is that they postponed their education and their civilian life in order to fight on our behalf.
