Crimes abound, and so do victims. This slide-sound transfer to film points out the past indifference of the legal system to the victims of crime, and the need for a national network of organizations specialising in helping these victims. While some organizations do exist, they are concentrated mainly in the urban centres and are not equally accessible to all citizens. The film identifies some of these organizations. Vignettes are used to illustrate three types of crime that, while dissimilar in nature, affect victims in much the same way. A public information film that raises an issue important to all citizens.
