Fish farming is a viable operation in Norway. The film takes us to island communities in northern Norway and points out the differences in their organization, operation and physical set-up. Despite real differences between Norway's and Canada's coastal communities, they share some of the same problems. This film is useful in showing how Norwegians are coping with problems similar to those facing Canada.
