Louis Says is a Canadian series aimed at teaching and reinforcing character values to primary-aged children. Each episode features Louis, a Cree elder and Randy, a young boy who is presented with a task to complete each day. In the course of the day, Randy learns an important lesson, plus one Cree word. A great teaching tool for language arts, aboriginal education, character education and social studies.
From bringing a gift to a sick boy, to delivering fabric for a quilt, to picking up medicinal herbs, each episode in Louis Says features stories that resonate with children, and reinforce important values such as patience, respecting elders, helping others and teamwork.
Each DVD contains two 11 minute episodes.
