Climate Change Babies takes a hopeful approach to the climate crisis by focusing on people taking action to secure a better future for their children.
During the Covid-19 pandemic, courageous and articulate moms, parents and grand-parents from British Columbia, are organizing and exchanging profound information about climate change and the importance of nature for their babies and children. When they feel afraid and anxious about the state of the planet, they have an antidote: Action! The film features members of the Babies for Climate Action group, as well as separate experts, activists and Indigenous leaders. The filmmaker also interviews author and parent Elin Kelsey, whose book ‘Hope Matters’ looks at why changing the way we think is crucial to solving the climate crisis.
