Apprentice Hunter Cheeta Gruban credits her close connection to her family, land and traditional teachings for her success as a hunter. Gruban lives with her family on the shores of the Arctic Ocean in the small town of Tuktoyaktuk. Cheeta discusses her origin hunter story on Norther/Her and describes how empowering it is for her to know what she can withstand and survive in the harsh northern conditions.
