W5 investigates shocking allegations made against a Nova Scotia pediatric dentist that were sparked by a social media post. Errol Guam was accused of traumatizing generations of children, but it took a Facebook post that went viral to prompt the Provincial Dental Board of NS to suspend his license. Former patients of Dr. Errol Gaum say they were ignored after filing complaints to the Provincial Dental Board of Nova Scotia. Their mandate is to protect the public and yet they are predominantly composed of members from the same profession. Activists believe that patients' interests are not fully met when a board or college handles the complaints and discipline of its own profession.
