Canadians Fred and Bonnie Cappuccino have dedicated their lives to helping children in need. Through their organization, Child Haven International, the couple reaches over 1,000 disadvantaged children in India, Nepal, Tibet and Bangladesh. CTV's W5 travels to Kaliyampoondi, India, to get a first-hand look at the charity.
Child Haven International uses Mahatma Gandhi's ideologies to run its institution, but welcomes all religious values. Children live out of only one trunk, because co-founder Bonnie Cappuccino says simple living is something the world needs in times of civil unrest.
