Finally, science gave police the one crucial piece of evidence they needed to arrest and charge Mohan Ramkissoon in the murder of his wife.

On Friday, Feb. 13, 2004, four-and-a-half years after Yvette Budram was murdered, Mohan Ramkissoon was convicted of second-degree murder and sentenced to life in prison with no parole for 14 years. Science teamed with police work, providing evidence that allowed Yvette Budram to point to her killer from beyond the grave.
