It was an elaborate sting known as "The Big Boss," or "Mr. Big" in which undercover officers posed as shadowy underworld figures running a powerful criminal organization.

The idea is to win the confidence of the suspect - in this case Michael Bridges - and slowly draw him into the organization. But there's a catch. The potential member must reveal the truth about all past crimes to the seemingly powerful Mr. Big.
