The remarkable story of the surgery to separate the conjoined twins from Zimbabwe captured attention around the world, turning the brothers into mini-celebrities. In July 2005, the day after their first birthday, they left Canada to begin their new lives in Zimbabwe. So many children who come to Canada for life-saving operations go home to remote, isolated villages in far-off lands never to be seen again. W-FIVE decided to visit Tinashe and Tinotenda back home with their family in January 2006, nearly one year after their operation.
