Addiction and substance abuse change us. They change our character, how we deal with people, how we feel about ourselves and they change what is important to us. This episode looks at the parts of our character affected by substance abuse and addiction and the character traits needed to begin recovery. They are what Rand calls "The Four Horsemen of the Addiction Apocalypse" Patience, tolerance, kindness and love are the four emotions that we need to start to make us feel better are.
