They suspect she's faking it, and Barton goes to ask Gussy her opinion. Gussy is reading the story of Goldilocks to Lucy. Gussy goes to the barn and confirms that Dolly is sick. The Moohs make vegetable soup for Dolly, while the others prepare a comedy concert, in which Conley headlines as a comedian to cheer Dolly up.
