This time John is off to explore one of Egypt’s national parks – Wadi El Gamel on the south of Egypt’s Red Sea coast. Stretching from the sea in to the dessert, this area seems to be a harsh an uninhabitable landscape, so John is keen to learn more about to food of the people who have called it home for centuries. In the desert John samples freshly roasted coffee under the shade of an acacia tree and feasts on goat cooked on hot rocks. He joins local fisherman on the Red Sea and cooks up a dish of his very own.
