Satellite imagery reveals mysterious markings in the snow in remote Northern Finland, and LiDAR technology motivates researchers to explore and find evidence of World War II activities here. Drones find a huge size crater in a Vietnamese jungle, one of many located along the Ho Chi Minh Trail. At the bottom they find Hang Son Doong, the largest cave in the world, with its own weather. Another mystery is revealed in the Antarctica’s Danger Islands - pink patches of ice which leads scientists to discover an ancient colony of penguins. In Mozambique drones reveal that Mount Lica, a pristine, isolated inselberg, has uniquely evolved species shards of pottery. Only now, with aerial technology, can we finally probe these last unreachable locations.
