A classic 'voyage and return' story about Canada's notorious glamour-punk band Teenage Head. This is an atmospheric journey with the band present-day. The untimely death of their front man Frankie “Venom” (early 2000s) sparks the beginning of a serious depression for lead guitarist and founder Gord Lewis. Now, some 40 years after the group's popularity sparked Toronto's famous “punk rock riot” the summer of 1980, the band is determined to enter the limelight once again, with new material in the works, two major labels chasing them, and a cross Canada tour planned. But the story goes introspective as we follow Gord into the depths of his depression amid the band's efforts to pull him back out on the road.
Features appearances by Marky Ramone, legendary punk writers Jon Savage, Nina Antonia (New York Dolls) and unseen 16mm colour transfers from Heatwave Festival.
