Admiral Nelson: The Hero and the Man tells the story of Admiral Horatio Lord Nelson’s incredible life from humble beginnings to one of Britain’s greatest ever war heroes.

From his early years in Norfolk to winning the Battle of Trafalgar, Nelson’s achievements are still remembered today. Not only is Nelson’s column still one of London’s most famous landmarks but every year on Trafalgar Day (21st October) there are parades, parties, and re-enactments across the country. For the 200th anniversary of the Battle of Trafalgar in 2005, even the Queen paid tribute saying: ‘Admiral Lord Nelson's supreme qualities of seamanship, leadership with humanity and courage in the face of danger are shared among our maritime community today. He could wish for no greater legacy’.
