Fifty-seven year-old Cynthia Langrall is a devoted wife, hard-working paralegal and much loved grandmother. She is also a woman who likes routine and starts every day at 5.45am with a jog through the normally peaceful Hillcrest Ranch neighbourhood in Glendale, Arizona. But on December 21, 2009, Cynthia goes for her morning jog and never returns.

When her concerned husband Charles goes looking for her, he discovers the unimaginable has happened - his beloved wife has been shot dead in their usually safe neighbourhood. Detectives are dumbfounded as to who would want to kill Cynthia, but hope home surveillance cameras will provide answers. After hours of pouring through footage, detectives strike gold when they discover what looks like the killer’s vehicle caught on camera.

As the police race to identify the vehicle’s driver, they discover this is no random killing and if they don’t catch Cynthia’s murderer soon, more innocent lives will be lost.
