Carl gets a legitimate bomb call. A man has left his car in the Casino parking lot and disappeared. Carl tracks him, finds him lying face down on the ground. Expecting the worst, Carl draws his gun, but the man is missing his head. He blew it off with a dynamite necklace.  And there is still more dynamite in the dead man’s parked car. Carl stresses the need for the public to cooperate with the police. To look beyond the uniform to recognize a human being with feelings and concerns who is trying to help. Policing, Carl says, is a people industry.  He spent a lot of time in schools and native kids reacted to his positive message and the role models he described to them.
