On patrol, Penny reflects on her ‘unique job’.  Russ gets called to an early morning ‘domestic’ and gets caught up in a violent encounter. For 23 years, Penny has dealt with community grief.  And she’s still involved daily with racism, sex workers and human trafficking.  Intimately connected with her community, she wants to keep everyone safe.  The key to doing that is making sure kids are safe and have opportunities.  In a First Nations lifestyle, communities raise kids.
