Industries, mining, air transport, cars ... our planet is suffocating as air pollution has become one of the leading causes of death in the world. Coupled with global warming, due to the emission of greenhouse gases, the situation is now critical and seems out of control; but on the five continents, scientists, engineers, architects, are leading the fight against the effects as well as the causes of this deadly poison. They are inventing solutions to clean up the atmosphere of the planet, and perhaps make it breathable again for future generations.
