From 1939 to 1945, Germany waged a racist war of extermination in Europe. Not even children were spared in the National Socialists’ reign of terror. Families were torn apart, deported, destroyed. When the war ended, the hatred that had built up during the years of conflict was directed against the Germans themselves. Even against those who were innocent. Reconciliation - healing the wounds that had been torn open - was only rarely possible.
In this part of the series, we will hear about the revenge of the victors and the events that led up to this.
