From Edmonton, Alberta, hosts Ashley Callingbull and Pakesso Mukash introduce a myriad of incredible artists.
- The Northern Cree Singers were founded in 1982 by Steve Wood and his brothers Randy and Earl. The group has won numerous awards and have received 7 Grammy award nominations.
- Iskwé is a singer-songwriter originally from Winnipeg, Manitoba, who is of Irish and indigenous descent. Iskwé means 'woman' in the Cree language.
- Theo Fluery is a successful NHL player, who scored 1088 points over 14 seasons. Fluery was sexually abused by his coach in his junior standout year and he turned to drugs and alcohol to mask his pain and suffering. On his journey to sobriety and self-discovery he turned to his Métis roots, and found healing from the serenity of his spiritual leaders.
- Gérald Laroche, known as 'the master of the harmonica', carries over 60 different harmonicas for his performances. In addition, he plays the penny whistle, Indian mouthbow, jawharp and other percussive instruments to create his unique blend of music.
- Kathleen Ivaluarjuk Merritt uses her Irish and Inuit heritage in her artistry. Her performances are described as a melodic mix of Inuit throat singing and poetry infused with Celtic folk music.
- Lightning Cloud is a music group from Los Angeles, California that blends multiple forms of music in their songs.
- Charlie Major, a country singer-songwriter born in Aylmer, Quebec, burst onto the Canadian country music scene with three Juno awards.
